YOUR INSTRUCTOR: HOW ART STUDIO LIFE BEGAN
Hi, I'm Elisabeth Larson Koehler, the artist and founder behind Art Studio Life.
I grew up between the U.S. and Germany, spending part of my childhood in a small Bavarian school where I was exposed to a rich world of art and traditional crafts from an early age. That experience initiated my deep love for painting.
I later pursued a BA in Linguistics and a BFA in Painting and Drawing at the University of Washington in Seattle, and went on to further study classical painting at the Jerusalem Studio School in Israel, where I deepened my understanding of traditional techniques and fine art principles.
Art Studio Life was born from a desire to share the knowledge I’ve gathered over the years and make high-quality art education more accessible to everyone—whether you're just picking up a brush for the first time or have been painting for years.
